Under USAID funded TB Local Organizations Network (LON) Activity led by Dopasi Foundation, Contech International is conducting an in-depth assessment of TB stigma. The assessment is part of the national research using tools developed by the Stop TB Partnership, previously utilized in over 20 countries worldwide. This assessment includes interviews with individuals affected by TB (current/previously treated), their family members, community influentials and healthcare providers to gain insights into stigma-related barriers in accessing TB care.

Data collection is currently underway within six USAID TB LON Activity districts in Sindh including Karachi East, Karachi Central, Keamari, Badin, Jamshoro, and Matiari.
