overview
Asiya Nawaz is an experienced professional having rich background of planning and managing field work, monitoring and quality assurance of field teams, as well as facilitation and program management in different international NGOs. Ms. Nawaz is a double Master's from the University of Baluchistan, Quetta, including a Master's in Sociology and Urdu. She has also acquired several trainings in the field of public health.
She has been associated with Contech since 2010. She started her career in Contech a Sociologist and Monitoring Officer. She has also worked as Training and Advocacy Officer at Sehat Sahulat Roshni FSW Project, Provincial AIDS Control Program and as Research Associate at USAID Health systems Strengthening Project. Before joining Contech, she had worked as Project Assistant with The Global Fund Round 6 Mercy Corps Project and Health Facility BPRM Project. She has also worked with World Health Organization and UNICEF in varied capacities and supported project implementation.
Ms. Nawaz is well-versed with the use of CAPI/CATi software. She holds extensive experience of managing field work, timely data collection, compilation and maintaining chronological records of field teams, capacity building of staff and assisting the project Manager in field supervision and monitoring of project activities and maintaining log monitoring visits and reports.
